The previous owners sold Ritz-Carlton brand name as well as its hotels in Boston, Massachusetts and the current company was established in 1983. It has been extended to other location and is now a subsidiary of Marriott International.

Other awards of Ritz-Carlton hotels are Zagat Survey’s top dining, hotel and service: and Ritz-Carlton in Dallas, USA and Wolfsburg, Germany also both given top honors from Zagat in 2009.
