Baymont Inn & Suites is a hotel brand that falls under Wyndham Hotels & Resorts. Offering discount-priced accommodations, this hotel chain was established by Marcus Corporation, but with limited services. The chain’s first hotel was launched in Oshkosh, Wisconsin sometime in 1973, and it took a couple of years before another property was built which patterns the current distinctive appearance of the hotel chain.

After its acquisition in 2008 by the Wyndham Hotel Group, a new campaign and creative approach was applied to Baymont Inn & Suites. This started its identity for having “hometown hospitality.”

This hotel chain competes with other mid-priced hotels like La Quinta Inn, American Hotels, and Fairfield Inn. Baymont Inn & Suites is well-known in promoting hometown hospitality. More than 400 hotels under this brand are available in the United States since in January 2016, mostly in California, in the Midwest and South locations.
