About Danhostel Bryrup
Danhostel is a hotel chain brand that started through the humble beginnings and aspirations of a teacher. Danhostel started in 1912 as a youth hostels in Athena. Pioneered by Richard Schirmann and businessman Wilhelm Muner, the single hostel became 83 a year after in 1913. Further developments were halted by the First World War but flourished once more in 1920 and started spreading in different cities and areas in Europe.
Hostel organizations began to expand in 10 countries by the 1930s, with the first youth hostel opening in Denmark. The brand evolved throughout the decades and catered rooms for couples, singles, families and groups of all sizes. Danhostels started providing family rooms with private and/or shared bathrooms.
At present, Danhostel Danmarks Vandrerhjem serves as the Administrator for all the Danhotels branches and provides basic hostel products, with consistent high-quality services.

Through the brands efforts in marketing and by working closely with the tourism sector of the community, the brand is most likely to maintain and overall strong presence in Denmark.
