About Thwaites Hotels, Inns and Lodg Curdridge
Originally starting as a brewery, the Thwaites Hotel chain can trace its history as far back as 1807 when Daniel Thwaites became a partner in the Eanam Brewery. Six generations later and the name has expanded to include not just a successful brewery but also a successful hospitality chain with their signature draft as one of the main draws. Under the Thwaites brand are multiple services on offer including pubs, spas, inns, and hotels.
Their extensive experience matched with dedication earned the chain several awards including the prestigious Catey Away in 2002. In the years 2016 and 2017, they further receive the AA Hotel Group of the Year, further cementing Thwaites position in the UK hospitality market.
Interestingly enough, the original brewery still operates in its flagship town in England. Their beers are currently being sold through their 270 pubs and 8 Inns of Character. They also have six 4-star hotel and spas operating in different regions.
The Inns of Character operating under the Thwaites Company are properly named with an old-world ambience complete with cask-conditioned ales. The accommodations are categorized into three: Family Inns, Coastal Inns, and Country Inns – each one proudly carrying the unique Thwaites brew not available anywhere else.
