The David L Lawrence Convention Center is a conference, convention, and exhibition facility located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, in the United States. It was opened in the year 2003 and was financed together with PNC Park and Heinz Field. The facility has a 1,500,000 square feet area, and it even won a Supreme Award in 2004 as excellent for structural engineering. The old building was just 131,000 square feet and did not have a ballroom, so it was demolished to make room for the construction on the same site. The facility is home to a wide range of activities.
