Commonly referred to as Manila International Airport, the Ninoy Aquino International Airport is situated between the cities of Pasay and Parañaque. The airport was named after Benigno "Ninoy" Aquino Jr, who was assassinated at the said airport in 1983. Currently, the airport of Manila, Philippines serves the greater part of Metro Manila as well as its neighboring metropolitan areas. NAIA serves as the main gateway for domestic and international flight networks of 45 million passengers since 2018. The Manila International Airport has two runways and four terminals. The Terminal1 is currently serving international flights.
