Raiatea Airport, also locally known as Uturoa Airport,is set in Uturoa in French Polynesia, one of France’s exclusive central regions and territory. It was one of the 42 airports in France that were instated in 1962 and started operations in the same year. Many people to travel to the nearby island of Taha’a used the airport.
