Rochester International Airport is a public non-hub Primary airport situated in southwest of Rochester, Minnesota’s central business district. The airport, with RST airport code, is the second busiest airport in the state of Minnesota. It is founded as Rochester Municipal Airport 1982 by the Mayo Foundation to serve as patients from the Mayo Clinic and still the hub of Mayo Clinic MedAir. Rochester International Airport is set for renovation this 2019, for it has already received the $3.3 million grant for the runway reconstruction and jet bridge project.
