Formerly known as the Spotsylvania Mall, the Spotsylvania Towne Centre, is a shopping mall situated in Fredericksburg, Virginia, across the Central Park shopping and dining complex. The mall houses over 150 specialty stores and restaurants, which include Costco, JCPenney, and Macy’s as its anchor stores. Spotsylvania Towne Centre was opened in 1980, and its reconstruction was completed in 2009, which was also the start of construction for an outdoor lifestyle center called “The Village.” The mall has become a favorite destination to shop along with its big-box retailers and its children’s play area.
