Fiesta Inn was established with a focus on traveler orientation in 1982 by Grupo Mexican group, Posadas. Grupo Posadas SAB de CV or Posadas is a Mexico City-based hotel company that has an expertise for operating and managing villas, resorts, and hotels. The dedication of the company in the hospitality service extends to their acquisition of the Mexicana de Aviacion—Mexico’s 2nd largest airline—in 2005. Fiesta Inn business class hotels are one of the 110 hotels and resorts in the group’s portfolio. In 2009, Celaya Fiesta Inn was given the Distintivo H award by the Mexican Federal Secretariat of Tourism. The Fiesta Inn in the State of Queretaro also received the same award a year later.
