Aachen Merzbruck Airfield – AAH Aachen
Strategically situated near Wurselen, Aachen Merzbruck Airfield is currently operated by Flugplatz Aachen-Merzbrück GmbH. The airport was established in 1932 as a grass airfield and was used to serve small light aircraft. AAH airport was then used by Luftwaffe during the outbreak of World War II and equipped the aircraft with Junkers Ju 87s. It was in 1945 when the airfield was taken over by the Western Alliance and then was used by the British Forces Germany. The airfield of Aachen Germany was rebuild years later with a new set of services and facilities.
