Gaujac: A World-Class Heritage Relic
Gaujac is a little municipality in the department of Gard, southern France. The town is also located in Bagnols-Sur-Ceze township in the Nimes district and centered around an old chateau, where there are a few streets and old walls to see. This city is famous for the Saint Benezeth bridge, a wooden bridge connecting Rhone and Villeneuve-lès-Avignon. Pont du Gard is a picturesque aqueduct bridge created in the 1st century and included in UNESCO's World Heritage Sites. Another place to visit is the Guajac Oppidum Ruins.
