Glenwood: Preserving Nature Reserves
Glenwood is a small and unincorporated community located in the county of Klickitat, Washington. Glenwood, Washington still has an ongoing jurisdiction of community claims between the Yakama Nation and Klickitat County. Its name was derived because it is literally surrounded by woods and glen. One of the most notable events that happened in Glenwood is the fatal black bear attack in 1974 of a four-year-old girl, Victoria Valdez.
