Lamar Municipal Airport is a public airport owned by and serving the city of Lamar in Colorado, United States. Located just four miles west of the quiet city, the airport is a significant part of the state’s aviation activities as it’s the single all-weather instrument runway in Colorado’s southeast corner. While LAA Colorado is mostly used for general aviation, the military occasionally conducts training on the airport grounds. It sits on 640 acres of land owned by the city.
