Nalchik Airport - NAL
Nalchik Airport lies in Russia's Kabardino-Balkar Republic, just 3 kilometers northeast of the Nalchik capital city. It was established in 1945 over 140 hectares of land, primarily servicing military personnel and cargo. In 1975, the airport operated flights to Rostov, Voronezh, Moscow, and Grozny via An-24 and Yak-40 aircraft. By 1993, the terminal building was renovated to serve passengers flying through domestic Russian airlines and upgraded to serve passengers coming through on international flights.
