Located in Hughes County, Stuart, Oklahoma is a town that was formerly known as Hoyuby in the Native American Choctaw Nation. It was in 1895 when the town developed following the establishment of the Choctaw, Oklahoma and Gulf Railroad. Highway 270 runs through the northern side of town.
