A distinct wet and dry season dominates Talisay, Philippines. Between the months of May to November is when heavy rain and even thunderstorms are experienced. On the other hand, the remaining months are hot and dry. The most recommended time to visit the town is March and April. But these are also the times when tourism is at its peak and you may find Talisay hotels to be expensive. Every February, the vibrant Punlad Festival takes place in the town.

The world renowned Taal Volcano is found in Talisay. It is an active volcano surrounded by the Taal Lake. The volcanic island is accessible via boat tours you can easily book once you have reached town. Its neighboring town, Tagaytay, is only about 25 minutes away and also offers many tourist attractions.
