Best Time to Visit
Although TST-Trang Airport only serves domestic flights, the passenger traffic it handles had drastically increased almost 800,000 in 2017. That said, the airport’s terminal has been planned to be extended to at least 9,000 square meters in 2019. There are also plans to lengthen the airstrip to 3,000 meters and to construct a second terminal by 2021, thus increasing the airport capacity to 3.7 million annually. Currently, only Nok Air, Thai AirAsia, and Thai Lion Air operate flights from the airport to Don Mueang International Airport in Bangkok. While in the Trang Province, include the towns of Thung Khai, Trang, and Khuan Pring in your itinerary.
