Warin Chamrap: A Day In A City
Formerly known as the Thaksin Ubon, the district of Warin Chamrap is located in the western part of Ubon Ratchathani Province, Thailand. The city is quite small and there is nothing much to do, however, it is a great place to stay in when visiting neighboring cities. Tourists can also tour the place in less than one day to just relax and rest before moving on to other cities.
Best Time to Visit
To have a great and warm experience, visit Warin Chamrap during June through August. These months also mean high season, higher Warin Chamrap hotel rates and higher number of visitors. For a moderately fine weather, and lesser tourists, the months of March, April, and May are great times to visit. Thailand's famous Ubon Ratchathani Candle Festival is celebrated every July that attracts local and neighboring cities visitors.
What to Do & Area Attractions
Just within Ubon Ratchathani Province, the Ubon Zoo is a good place to visit to check out some native species and animals. The Wat Ban Na Muang is a historical landmark that recounts an incredible story of the province's history. During the night, the Rachabut Night Market is a great place to hang out in and taste native delicacies and street food.
