Yining Airport - YIN Xinjiang
Yining Airport (IATA: YIN, ICAO: ZWYN) is a public airport that caters flights coming in and out of Yining or locally known as Ghulja. Yining was formerly named as Ili and Kulja, a city within the Xinjiang Province in China. YIN - Yining Airport is a 15-minute drive to the town center.

The Yining Airport (YIN) is built at an above mean sea level elevation of 2,185 feet or more than 600 meters above sea level. Aircrafts are taking turns in its single asphalt runway which measures 2,400 meters in length and by 45 meters wide. This supports an average of around 13,000 aircraft movements annually. Based on statistics, in the year 2018, there are about 1,332,000 travelers who went in and out of the city through seven different airlines. Most of the flight are bound to the neighboring Urumqi City, although flights to China’s capital Beijing is also catered as well as other cities such as Chengdu, Karamay, Korla, Shihezi and Tianjin.
