The third busiest airport in Manitoba is theThompson Municipal Airport (YTH) located 3.5 miles north of Thompson, Manitoba, Canada. It serves Thompson, Mystery Lake and other neighboring areasmany of which are accessible only by air during the warm months. It was developed originally in 1961 to support a local mining operation. Then it changed hands a few times until its current ownership and operation were turned over to the Thompson Regional Airport Authority.
