Zurich Airport – ZRH Zurich
Hailed as Switzerland’s largest international airport, Zurich Airport (ZRH) caters to Zurich, which is the biggest city in the country. This airport is located eight miles from Zurich, Switzerland particularly the northern central area. During the early stages of air travel, Dübendorf Air Base served as the commercial airfield and was eventually replaced by Zurich Airport.

Zurich Airport is the primary hub of Swiss International Air Lines, which offers flights to residents of Switzerland’s major cities. Other towns ZRH serve to include Constance, Dingelsdorf, and Litzelstetten among many others. ZRH has three terminals A, B, and E, which are linked to a central building.
This complex also houses a mall, parking space, tram and bus terminal, railway station, and check-in counters. Currently, a section of the airport is being constructed to build a new facility.

While Zurich Airport may be the primary airport in Switzerland, another airport visitors can pass through is St. Gallen-Altenrhein Airport (ACH). This major airport also offers international flights and is situated 105 km. away from ZRH.
