International Exposition Center
International Exposition Center, or simply called I-X Center, is a 2,200,000-square-foot facility in Cleveland that has been an essential building in Northeast Ohio for over 30 years. Established in 1942, I-X Center was once a bomber factory, then a tank factory, and became a convention center in 1985. Because of its sheer size, it is considered amongst the biggest of its kind in the United States and in the world, and it has been attracting many leading show producers from around the world. Meetings, conventions, trade shows, banquets, and boat shows are the ones being held at the center every year.
Besides the event spaces, International Exposition Center also features an indoor amusement park that is proud of its Ferris wheel, which is the tallest indoor Ferris wheel on the planet. Outside the facility are more activities and attractions to discover, and two of them are Cleveland Arcade, which is an indoor shopping mall with countless shops and services, and the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo that is a great place for fun and learning about the wildlife. The Black River State Reservation in Elyria and the Cain Park in Cleveland Heights are also some of Ohio’s must-visit spots. While in Cleveland, one of the best hotels to stay in at Sheraton Cleveland Airport Hotel as it provides free airport shuttle and has an indoor pool, gym, business center, bar, and a restaurant. A comfortable stay can also be experienced at Ramada by Hampton Inn & Suites Cleveland-Airport, which has a spa tub, free Wi-Fi, and complimentary self-parking.
