Living Arts Centre
The Living Arts Centre is a multi-function facility that is 225,000 square foot that is located in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada. It has three performance theatres – Rogers Theatre, Hammerson Hall, and RBC Theatre. It is also composed of corporate meeting facilities, seven professional art studios, and an art gallery. Funded by the Government of Canada and the City of Mississauga, the Living Arts Theatre is a not-for-profit organization that was opened in 1997 and designed by Zeidler Partnership. The “Dance of Venus” within the centre is designed by artist Stuart Reid. Serving as the performance outlet for the various community social groups and art organizations, this landmark has more than 300,000 visitors each year for such purposes as attending corporate meetings/conventions, for viewing the visual and performing arts programs, and for a wide array of community events.
