New York City, New York has one of the most vibrant Jewish communities in the world, and it is no surprise that civic organizations have sprung up over the years to support the community. One product of such a partnership is the Center for Jewish History, unarguably the largest collection of historical materials, documents, and art relating to the history of the Jewish community in the United States of America. In addition to being an incredible location for conducting research or just perusing the materials on hand, the Center also has spaces for conducting exhibitions and hosting performances and events all set in a modern building in the middle of the city.

While there are certainly many things to do in New York City after a day spent at the Center for Jewish History, a trip to the nearby cities of Rego Park and Middle Village are always nice options for a change of pace.
